PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETINGS #3 AND #4: FEBRUARY 4 AND FEBRUARY 6, 2025
KDOT is hosting two public information meetings for its Randall Road Multimodal Improvements Project in February 2025. Travelers of Randall Road and residents of Elgin, Elgin Township, Dundee Township, Sleepy Hollow, West Dundee, Carpentersville and Algonquin are invited to attend one of the following two open houses to learn about and share feedback on proposed Randall Road multimodal improvements:
South meeting: Tuesday, February 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elgin Community College Building E (1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, IL 60123)
North meeting: Thursday, February 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Algonquin Village Hall (2200 Harnish Drive, Algonquin, IL 60102)
Members of the public can come at any time during the events to view exhibits, ask questions and share comments. During both meetings, the project team will share identical information about the study, gather input on proposed improvements and review the next steps. Meeting materials will be posted to this webpage on Monday, February 3. KDOT held two public information meetings in September 2023 about the project: one in the south section of the study on September 14 and one in the north section on September 20. During both meetings, the project team shared the same information about the study, gathered public input and reviewed next steps.
